1. Who we are
This Privacy Policy explains how Sai Industrial Solutions (“Sai Industrial Solutions”, “we”, “us”, “our”), based at Sharjah Media City, Sharjah, United Arab Emirates, collects, uses, stores and shares personal data when you visit this website, send us an enquiry or contact us.
We are stockists, traders and customised manufacturers of power transmission products and industrial components. We act as the controller of the personal data described in this policy and handle it in line with the UAE Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021 on the Protection of Personal Data (“UAE PDPL”) and its executive regulations, as applicable from time to time.
2. Personal data we collect
We only collect the data we need to respond to you and run our business:
- Enquiry and contact details: your name, phone number, email address, company name, the product or category you are interested in, quantity, and any message or requirement details you write.
- Communications: the content of emails, calls and WhatsApp messages you exchange with us, so we can follow up on your request.
- Technical data: basic information your browser sends automatically, such as IP address, device and browser type, pages visited and time of visit. This is processed by our website host and is used for delivering and securing the site.
We do not ask for payment card details, government ID numbers or sensitive personal data through this website. Please do not include such information in your messages.
Our enquiry and contact forms prepare an email addressed to us in your own email app. Nothing is sent to us until you press Send in that email.
3. How and why we use your data
- To reply to your enquiry, prepare quotations, and arrange supply, delivery and after-sales support.
- To provide technical guidance and product recommendations you ask for.
- To send you product updates and industry information, only where you have asked for them or otherwise agreed to receive them. You can opt out at any time.
- To keep records for accounting, tax, legal and regulatory obligations in the UAE.
- To protect and improve the website, prevent misuse and keep it secure.
Our legal bases are your consent (for example, when you submit a form), steps taken at your request before or under a contract (quotations and orders), compliance with legal obligations, and our legitimate business interests in running and securing our business, where these do not override your rights.
4. Who we share your data with
We do not sell your personal data. We share it only where necessary with:
- Service providers that help us run the website and communicate with you, such as website hosting and security (Cloudflare), email and messaging tools, and font delivery (Google Fonts). They may process data only to provide their service to us.
- Suppliers, manufacturers and logistics partners, when needed to source, produce or deliver the products you request (for example, your company name and delivery details).
- Professional advisers, auditors, banks and authorities, where required by law, a court order or a competent UAE authority.
When you click the WhatsApp button, you leave this website and your message is handled by WhatsApp under its own terms and privacy policy.
5. International transfers
Some of our service providers may process data outside the UAE. Where personal data is transferred abroad, we do so only as permitted by the UAE PDPL — for example, to countries or providers that offer an appropriate level of protection, under suitable safeguards, or with your consent where required.
6. Cookies and similar technologies
This website does not use advertising or tracking cookies. Our host and our font provider may receive technical information (such as your IP address) when your browser loads the site or its fonts. If we add analytics or marketing tools in the future, we will update this policy and, where required, ask for your consent first.
7. How long we keep your data
We keep personal data only for as long as it is needed for the purposes above. Enquiry and contact records are generally kept for as long as we are dealing with you and afterwards for the period required for business, accounting, tax and legal purposes. When data is no longer needed, we delete or anonymise it.
8. How we protect your data
We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect personal data against loss, misuse and unauthorised access, including secure (HTTPS) connections, access limited to people who need it, and use of reputable service providers. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
9. Your rights
Under the UAE PDPL, and subject to its conditions and exceptions, you may have the right to:
- know what personal data we hold about you and how it is used;
- request a copy of your personal data, or its transfer to another controller;
- ask us to correct inaccurate data or to complete it;
- ask us to delete your data or to restrict or stop its processing;
- object to processing, including processing based on automated decisions;
- withdraw your consent at any time, without affecting processing already done on the basis of your earlier consent.
To use any of these rights, contact us using the details in section 12. We may need to verify your identity first and will reply within the time limits set by law. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may also contact the UAE Data Office, the authority responsible for personal data protection in the UAE.
10. Children
This website is intended for businesses and adults. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has sent us personal data, please contact us so we can delete it.
